Having lived and raised my children in Kourou for 10 years I can only recommend visiting French Guiana as an inspiring place for three main reasons:
The biodiversity of the Amazon is probably where the word "amazing" comes from 😀
The cultural melting pot opens our eyes to other ways of living, to other priorities in life, and to more synergy with nature.
The Guiana Space Centre is a jewel that more people should know.
I followed Engineering, Business Administration and Space studies and have worked in the space sector for over 30 years, mainly with the European Space Agency, and with the French CNES and the International Space University.
I am currently volunteering as a mentor for students and graduates interested in a career in the space sector.
